I've had the pleasure of calling Here Hostel Bangkok my temporary home on several occasions during my extensive travels around Asia, and let me tell you, it's become my little oasis within the bustling city. The vibe at Here Hostel strikes the perfect balance between a laid-back atmosphere and lively social interactions. Whether you're in the mood for a chill evening or ready to dive into the vibrant nightlife, this place has you covered. Weekends come alive with live music, setting the stage for an unforgettable start to your night out. One of the standout features for me is the consistently high standard maintained throughout the hostel. The staff, with their super-friendly and helpful demeanour, go out of their way to make you feel at home. They've been an invaluable source of local tips and recommendations, adding that extra touch to my Bangkok experience. The rooms, depending on their locations, some might experience a bit of noise – there's a school nearby. However, this minor quibble is easily outweighed by the overall tranquil atmosphere. Most guests are up and about early, or perhaps catching a bit of extra sleep to recover from the previous night's escapades, so city noises are just part of the lively backdrop. The real showstopper, though, is the garden and pool. A fantastic retreat from the urban hustle, it's the perfect spot to unwind and soak up some sunshine. It's hard to believe you're in the heart of the city when you're lounging by the pool or enjoying the greenery. And let's not forget the location – Here Hostel is strategically placed within walking distance to many attractions around the old city area. Convenience at its best! Here Hostel Bangkok has a special place in my heart, I met some of my best travel friends here, and I'm always thrilled to come back. It's more than just a place to rest; it's a haven with a personality, making my stay in Bangkok all the more memorable.

I was on my first ever solo trip (as a female) and landed in bangkok. I arrived at the hostel and I quickly realised it was the PERFECT starting place. The female dorm I stayed in was amazing. The layout was good and it was big enough so that you could easily socialise with others in your room - but not too big that you felt overwhelmed. They also have a pool - which is another great place to socialise with other guests. I met so many people at the pool with whom I spent the day exploring the city with. They also serve food all day I believe (though I never had it) which is nice if you’ve had a long day and don’t want to go to the busy streets of bangkok. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and I would also come back if I come back to Bangkok!!

Really nice hostel to stay in with an original atmosphere to it. There is a pool, laundry machines and a kitchen with common room to chill in. The room has nice AC and nice sheets with a little cabinet next to the mattress and some curtains to have some privacy. The bathrooms are well equipped as well. Didn’t had the chance to try the pool but there is bar/restaurant part too with a chill terrace. The neighborhood is cool, the food and cafes are really good. I also recommend checking the Thai Bookstore in front of the Democracy Monument. They have books in english or thai about thai history, art, etc… I will book again this hostel if i have the occasion :)

We had a room with a double bed, which was very nice. The shower is a bit cold, but that's not too bad in the humid Bangkok heat. The location is very good as the hostel is in a small parallel street and Khaosan Rd as well as several cafés, restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. The place is full of life and lots of nice people have a great time here. I would therefore only recommend it to young people who want to party themselves. Then, the Here Hostel is a very good choice.

For a hostel the beds are really comfortable, the mattresses are super comfortable and beds are proper solid beds built into the wall rather than those cheap rickety triple bunks that shake as soon as someone below gets in or moves you get in some hostels. They’re a little bit bigger than standard singles and you have a full curtain so you have your own private space. The aircon is good and it doesn’t smell all fusty like lots of hostels so you can get a good nights sleep. Showers are also good.
